This past weekend was one of the best we have had in awhile. It was super jam packed with stuff but I think I truly enjoyed every minute of it!
Friday morning started out with a big change for me. I chopped about 8-10 inches off of my hair.
Go Big or Go Home, right?
So far, I'm still loving it!
Friday after work we played in the driveway and then had a pizza picnic in the living room. I'm thinking Friday night pizza picnics are going to be our thing from now on.
This kid loves playing with balls all day every day. That and "choo choos" :)
Saturday morning I woke up before the rest of the house and made Shay's Maple Apple Sausage Breakfast Casserole. It was good but I think it might have needed to cook a little longer because the bottom was soggy. It was so much better the next day. The applesauce really added a fun twist to it.
Then we loaded up and headed to the zoo. Declan wasn't too sure what to think about Ollie Otter. LOL!
This was after his tumble off the suspension bridge on the playground. Then he went headfirst down the twisty slide. The playground really kicked his butt but he only cried a little and we all know Ice Cream fixes EVERYTHING!
Ridding the "choo choo".
Then we dropped Declan off because Momma and Daddy had a hot date to celebrate our SEVENTH anniversary! So crazy!
Before Dinner Selfie
If you are celebrating anything you should definitely celebrate at the Capital Grille!
IT. WAS. SO. GOOD!
My hot date!
The rest of the pictures are our food and drinks and definitely needs to be documented!
Thumbs up for some of the best food we've had in a while!
They even decorated the table.
How cute was our dessert???
This was 10 mins after we picked up Declan from Sissy and Pat Pat's on Sunday. I think he had a good time. :)
Then Sunday evening we took our Christmas Card/2year birthday pics with Dani Brewer and I can't wait to see them!
Here's a sneak peak she posted and I can't stop staring at it! My Guys are the cutest!
So every since Ashlee started dating Patrick I've wanted to go to a State game. We just could never find a weekend that worked. Well that all changed last weekend and I discovered a new love for Starkville and I would be totally fine if Declan decided to attend college there.
Friday, I took a half day and we all went down after work. Unfortunately the only picture I took were Saturday at the game. I need to get better at that. We got to Starkville around 7 and had Mexican at La Terreza and I realized how old I really am and how thankful I am that crop tops and mom jeans were not in style when I was in college.
We stayed the weekend with Patrick's best friend's apartment. 6 people in a two bedroom two bath apartment. It was perfect though bc we were able to walk to the game and we didn't have to pay. They were so sweet to let us take over their apartment and bathrooms.
Saturday morning we were up bright and and headed to the game around 8:30. It was an 11:00 am game so this let us tailgate for a bit. Here are some pics from the Junction.

The Four of Us.
Walking up to the Stadium.
They had sky divers bring in the flag which was really cool.
That smile melts my heart.

Happy about our kid free weekend.
A good whiskey drink makes a losing game so much better!
The only thing I would've done different would be to have worn sunscreen. My left side was FRIED!! You can totally tell in this picture.
We tried to hang out Saturday night but only made it til 8:30. The Cotton District was fun but these old farts couldn't hang after being up since 6 a.m.
On the way out of town Sunday we ate at City Bagel and it was delicious.
Such a fun weekend with family, football and great food!
Meanwhile Declan ruled the roost at my parents house.
So thankful for my parents who watched Declan while we were gone and dressed him in his State Shirt from Uncle Pat and Aunt Sissy.
He had fun with my parents neighbor.
Probably telling her he wanted to watch choo choos.
Today I'm linking up to share what's been going on with The Franks.
What We're Eating This Week.
I made this quinoa enchilada casserole from a recipe I found on pinterest and it was GLORIOUS. Y'all should definitely try it out.
I added avocado and tomatoes on top. However, my avocados weren't ripe enough. They look pretty but tasted pretty yuck.
It said to put in an 8x8 pan but a 9x13 worked better for us!
What I'm Reminiscing About....
My Little Angel Bear. My timehop has been getting me so much this past week. I can't believe how much he's changed in a year. It makes this momma's heart sad and also gives me baby fever like none other....but that will have to wait.
What I'm Loving....
I got to spend so much time with my High School Bestie this past weekend and her new baby Genevieve. We had lunch, hung out and talked and made a Kroger run for the BEST COOKIES EVER. I didn't take a single pic which makes me sad but it seriously was just what I needed last weekend. If only Lexington, KY and Memphis were closer. However we did figure out Nashville is halfway so were trying to plan a girls weekend!
What We've Been Up To..
Well, our freezer leaked a week or two ago and jacked up our kitchen and dining room floors so were getting those fixed. And we've been doing some other things to get out house ready to sell. (That's a whole other post). We've been playing lots of "Choo Choo's". Declan is currently obssesed with any and everything related to trains. It's so cute how he says "Choo Choo" too.
What I'm Dreading...
Putting our house on the market eventually. The thought of keeping my house show ready makes me want to vomit and the thought of packing up and moving also makes me want to vomit. #goodtimes
What I'm Working On....
I've gotten back into the swing of things with Nerium. I have some new team members and I'm really excited about our future with the Company. #debtfree #sidegig #idriveafreelexus
What I'm Excited About...
See above plus some much needed lake time this weekend!
Podcasts, Podcasts and more Podcasts. My personal favorites are Joyce Meyer, Dave Ramsey and Life Church. Any other suggestions are welcomed!
What I'm wearing...
Nothing new but I did wear this chambray dress Monday and posted this pic on Instagram and FB and I got lots of positive feedback. I never think of myself as stylish so that made me feel kinda trendy. The Dress is from Old Navy. For size reference I got a small and it's ON SALE!
What I'm Doing This Weekend....
Heading to the LAKE!!! This will be my view. Hopefully the rain will hold off until Sunday!
What I'm Looking Forward To Next Month....
I can't think of any specific thing but there are definitely some fun things planned!
